Principal Programmer/Analyst I sought by EchoStar Operating LLC to work in Germantown, MD.

Job Duties: Design, implement and maintain the Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Single Sign On (SSO) initiative for large computer system with the goal of automating the process as much as possible. Develop identity management solutions; determine solution specifications; prepare solution design documents and requirement specifications; setup workflows, user interfaces, policies and reports; and identify business data and interface requirements and develop custom applications and IT solutions. Employ and maintain NetIQ Identity Management (NIM) in various environments and configurations including high availability and failover; set up and execute proof of concept demonstrations for applications and functionality; deploy SAML-based login for various inhouse and cloud applications; and build and maintain custom adapters using various methods to integrate IAM and SSO System Interface with various EchoStar teams for requirement formalization and deployment planning; and work with principal vendor support teams to resolve product bugs and obtain product enhancements. Utilize IAM Solution Design, Solution Planning, and Customization using API, Okta, Novell Security/Risk Management, SailPoint Security/Risk Management tools, Business Process and Workflow, RSA Security/Risk Management tools, Microsoft Security/Risk Management tools, Oracle Security/Risk Management tools, and Identity Manager and other tools, technologies in the development process.

Requirements include: MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related field; and 2 years of experience as Principal Programmer/Analyst 1, or 2 years of experience in identity and access management for computer systems/networks; and functional expertise (2 years’ work experience) in IAM Solution Design, Solution Planning, and Customization using API, Okta, Novell Security/Risk Management Tools, and SailPoint Security/Risk Management Tools. Employer will accept BS in same fields + 5 years’ experience in lieu of MS in same fields + 2 years’ experience. Drug screen and background check required. May work remotely 2-days a week.
