Job Title: Graduate Recruitment Specialist

Work Location: Greeley, CO and may work remotely one day a week from within commuting distance to campus.
Job Duties: Directly report to the Associate Director of Graduate Admissions, and serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned group of main-campus Greeley programs. Advise, educate, consult, engage, and support domestic and international graduate students in achieving their professional and personal goals. Collaborate with the graduate admissions team, Graduate School, Extended Campus, and the Office of Global Engagement including college and program faculty to implement the graduate strategic recruitment plan and meet established enrollment goals. Strategic Recruitment: Represent UNC and the Graduate School at virtual and in-person events including but not limited to presentations and information sessions and attending recruitment fairs; college and university-sponsored functions; site visits; individual appointments/group meetings; and community/civic events to grow awareness, interest, and applications to graduate programs (travel less than 10% of time). Develop and maintain a broad-base of institutional and program knowledge in order to effectively recruit a successful, motivated, and diverse pool of domestic and international graduate students within a group of assigned colleges/programs. Counsel students and support people about admission criteria, requirements for consideration, and other critical factors in the decision process. Work in partnership with the UNC Office of Global Engagement to support international graduate students transitioning to UNC. Graduate Yield & Enrollment Planning: Create and plan yield events to support graduate programs in driving enrollment. Promote programs to prospect students through outreach activities related to recruitment, admission, and enrollment of students into traditional and/or online graduate academic programs. Provide support in planning and programming for various recruitment activities and initiatives. Counsel students through tuition costs, available financial aid and preliminary aid awards, and anticipated cost of attendance. Monitor application progress and audit student records to ensure completion of application materials. Assist with the administrative and staff review of graduate applications.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Primary Education and Experience Requirements: Master’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Education, or a related field + 6 months’ experience working in a college or university setting in one of the following areas: student recruitment, admissions, student affairs, or student engagement (experience may be gained while completing degree).
Other Special Skills or Requirements: Position also requires demonstrated ability to work with domestic and international graduate students from an advising, engagement, admissions, or recruitment perspective.

Offered salary range $54,500.00 to $57,500.00 per year. Employer offers benefits available include health, dental, vision, life and long-term disability insurance, as well as a selection of several defined contribution retirement plans. Dependents and spouses of UNC Employees who are employed at 0.5 FTE or above are eligible for undergraduate dependent tuition grants of up to 50%. These tuition grants will cover in-state tuition charges.
