Clinical Territory Manager, Eastern Pennsylvania Territory sought by Cochlear Americas to work in Philadelphia, PA.

Provide clinical and surgical support for Cochlear product portfolio. Work with audiologists and surgeons to enhance patient outcomes with cochlear implants and osseointegrated devices. Provide clinical and technical support, as well as training on audiological devices; advise regarding patient candidacy for implantable hearing devices and ways to optimize hearing with devices; address medical/surgical inquiries and device troubleshooting. Provide guidance and expertise in sound booth testing, utilizing Minimum Speech test battery, and trialing implant technology. Assist in activation and programming of cochlear implants, traditional and active bone conduction implants, and Auditory brainstem implants. Advise surgeons on surgical inquiries related to implants; participate in surgical procedures, implant activations, and follow-up Audiological care. Assist in complex case management, implant integrity test, and intra-operative Neural response measurements. Assist in developing individualized plan of care for adults and pediatrics with counseling, device selection, programming, and recommending auditory rehabilitation. Provide training for educators and other medical staff; advise on product usage and operation.

Requirements include a Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.); and 3 years of experience as a Clinical Territory Manager, Eastern Pennsylvania Territory, or 3 years of clinical and/or surgical Audiology experience using Cochlear implant technologies.  Position also requires that the applicant(s) must have one of the following: a State Audiology License, a Certificate of Clinical Competency, or membership as a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Up to 60% travel required for clinical/surgical support for audiologists and surgeons; and training. Drug screen required. Pre-hire and annual background check required. May work from home within designated territory.
