Regional Sales Director sought by Cochlear Americas to work in Plano, TX and other unanticipated locations within the same Metropolitan Statistical Area. Remote position works from home full-time; must live within the Dallas, TX Metropolitan area.
Job Duties: Provide strategic leadership to set the direction for field team within assigned region in alignment with departmental and company strategic priorities. Utilize data, processes and various business levers to influence growth and customer retention. Responsible for achieving targeted sales, profit and loss (for affected budget), market share and goals for region. Work with team members to ensure establishment and maintenance of strong customer relationships with all assigned accounts (surgeons, audiologists, OR department, purchasing). Review, approve, and present pricing and unit purchase proposals and contract options with Area Manager. Develop sales forecasts; analyze various reports; track and analyze field and account activity. Oversee and manage within expense budget. Ensure that all activities relating to customer accounts are conducted according to company policy and comply with all Federal, State and local regulations. Provide leadership and direction to staff with a focus on talent development, coaching, mentoring, and development planning. Utilize knowledge bases including product line short- and long‐term strategic planning, formulating Sales and Marketing policies and strategies, and development of sales plans; and negotiating sales contracts and managing customer accounts; as well as tools and skills such as Salesforce; Oracle; Showpad; Miller Heiman sales methodology; and other tools, skills, technologies, and standards in carrying out assigned duties.
Requirements include Master’s in Business Administration or related field; 3 years’ experience as a Regional Sales Director or sales experience in the cochlear implant medical device field; and functional expertise (2 years’ work experience) with product line short- and long‐term strategic planning, formulating Sales and Marketing policies and strategies, and development of sales plans; negotiating sales contracts and managing customer accounts; Salesforce; Oracle. Up to 15 – 25% domestic travel required. Drug screen and background check required. Covid vaccination required.
Employee will be offered an annual salary between $136,843.00 and $150,000.00.
