Job duties: Examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records to prepare financial statements, give advice, and audit and evaluate statements prepared by others. Process and post cash receipts, including audit and reconcile accounts receivables with customer statements, prepare adjusting entries and A/R collections. Process and post accounts payable, including complete data entry, pay company vendor bills and taxes, perform analysis of budget, make budgeting recommendations to management, and project daily cash requirements. Prepare company payroll. Analyze financial data; analyze and reconcile balance sheet and Income Statement; prepare sales and use tax returns; and prepare commission and sales reports. Receive and record banking cash, checks and direct deposits as well as reconcile records of bank transactions and foreign transactions. Audit freight accounts; advise on 1099, W-2 and other payroll and accounting issues; and conduct accounting operations, accounting close, account reporting and reconciliations. Utilize experience in reporting and accounting with multiple currencies; filing and reporting insurance claims; preparation of variance analysis; internal accounting controls; and filing of tax returns, as well as using IQ Reseller and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) in completing duties.

Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; 2 years of experience as an Accountant, Assistant Accountant or any accountant-related job title; 2 years of general ledger accounting experience; and working knowledge (1 year of experience) of reporting and accounting with multiple currencies; filing and reporting insurance claims; preparation of variance analysis; internal accounting controls; and filing of tax returns. The offered salary for this position is $56,202 per year ($27.02 per hour). Employer offers paid time off.
