Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Work Location: Westminster, CO and may work remotely within commuting distance up to two days per week.

Job Duties: Maintain a lead role within a team of software developers and collaborate with the Principal Engineer and Architect to ensure the successful implementation of products and solutions for clients. Participate in the technical design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability. Build highly interactive and customized web, desktop, and/or mobile front-end and back-end applications. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning within the team. Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues, applying analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver effective solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions. Collaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage new tools and frameworks to enhance software development processes. Continuously improve software development practices and processes, identifying areas for optimization and implementing appropriate solutions. Function as a technical evangelist, representing the organization in technical forums, conferences, and industry events. Utilize .Net, C#, Web Application Development (Angular/HTML), Mobile Application Development (Xamarin/MAUI), SQL, WebAPI, Arcgis, and other tools, technologies, and standards in carrying out assigned duties.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Primary Education and Experience Requirements: Masters in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field + 1 year (12 months’) experience in a software engineering or programmer/developer role.

Other Special Skills or Requirements: Position also requires working knowledge (6 months’ work experience or 1 post-secondary course using) of .Net, C#, Web Application Development (Angular/HTML), SQL, and WebAPI.

Offered salary range $120,000.00 to $160,000.00 per year. Epoch offers unlimited PTO, up to $1,250 per month towards healthcare benefits for employee plus dependents, employer 401K match up to 3%, and dependent on Company performance, there is an annual bonus based on individual performance.
