Technical Solutions Engineer II sought by KRJA Systems Inc dba Maptek to work in Golden, Colorado.

Job duties: Provide technical analysis of client needs and data and translate analysis to relevant, targeted technical presentations, product demonstrations, trials, and pilot implementations, either on-site at an open pit or underground mine or online. Update and qualify all leads, opportunities and status updates through Maptek’s CRM system. Leverage Drill & Blast technical skills to prepare demonstrations of Maptek products and services with a focus on BlastLogic and general Mine Operations and associated products and applications. Leverage Mine Planning and Scheduling technical skills to prepare demonstrations of Maptek products and services with a focus on Vulcan and Evolution and associated applications for Mine Planning, both open pit and underground. Customize, expand, and automate software application via existing user APIs and other automation means available to users. Lead technical discussions with customers and support sales of Maptek’s Hardware, Software and Service solutions. Utilize mine planning and scheduling tools (open pit and underground); technical use and understanding of drill and blast systems; software automation with Perl, Python, and JavaScript; technical sales and presentations; mine planning packages; production planning and reporting; CAD Design; 3D modelling; Power BI; CRM System; Maptek BlastLogic; PointStudio and other tools, skills, technologies, and standards in carrying out assigned duties.

Requirements: BS in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Blasting Engineering; and 1 year experience as mining or technical service engineer, or technical solutions engineer; and working knowledge (6 months’ work experience or 1 post-secondary course using) of mine planning and scheduling tools (open pit and underground); technical use and understanding of drill and blast systems; software automation with Perl, Python, and JavaScript; technical sales and presentations; mine planning packages; and production planning and reporting.

Pre-hire background check required. Travel required, 30% domestic. May work remotely in Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, and Oregon.
