Project Engineer sought by Nordic PCL Construction, Inc. to work in Honolulu, HI and Kailua Kona, HI. Responsible for monitoring and executing the project construction plan and schedule, while ensuring compliance with budget and quality. Responsible for field and project engineering, quality control, contract administration, shop drawing review, submittals as well as scheduling. Assist with the selection of equipment, rental coordination, material procurement and the expediting process. Liaise with third party inspectors, the design team, as well as municipal/provincial authorities. Implement PCL’s Safety Program and adhere to the safety and record keeping requirements. Monitor work performance and productivity of trades to ensure project policies, procedures, and safety requirements are maintained. Liaise between field engineering, estimating, and subcontractors to ensure the compliance of construction with drawings and specifications. Assist in planning work schedules, determining manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, requirements, etc., including field engineering and construction activities.

Requirements include: BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or closely related field.; and 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Field Engineer; and Working knowledge, 1 year of Navisworks Manage, Blue Beam, AutoCAD and Revit. Working knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical System Commissioning.
