May work in Denver, CO, at other unanticipated worksites and/or from home anywhere in the U.S. Complete full life cycle software development, testing and validation of XML Database technology and application programming interfaces for application software products related to Xyleme’s learning content management system (LCMS). Design and implement data architecture and integrations; define and document development standards; conform systems to architectural standards; analyze and resolve security, performance and stability issues. Analyze requirements through implementation; code, test and debug; perform source code reviews; develop specifications; standardize and automate development and deployment processes for new and existing software products; monitor, identify and correct software defects; write shell scripts; and create documentation. Utilize: Learning content management systems (LCMS); SCORM based eLearning application; component content offering and publishing systems;  relational and NoSQL databases; XSD and XSL/T; JSON; Linux; Solaris; REST; Java (Standard and Enterprise); Spring; Web Frameworks; Python; Groovy; Ruby. Requirements include BS in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems; and 2 years’ experience as software architect or software application developer.
