Computer Programmer – Web sought by Plum Group, Inc. (d/b/a Plum Voice), to work in Boston, MA. To develop, create, modify, test, implement, and maintain front‑end web components for large scale Plum applications. Assist software developers with analyzing user needs and designing software solutions; create, modify, and test code, forms, and scripts that allow web applications to run; develop and write web programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information; conduct trial runs of web programs and software applications; and correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure desired results.  Write, update, and maintain web programs or software packages to handle specific jobs; revise or upgrade existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements; and consult with managers and engineers to clarify web program intent, identify problems, and recommend changes.  Compile and write documentation of web program development and subsequent revisions. Utilize Angular JS, LAMP Environment, Webservices, PathFinding Algorithms, Version Control Tools, Bootstrap, jQuery, XML, JSON, JS Debug Tools, Terminal, JAVA, SQL, AJAX, Object-Oriented Programming, Eclipse, Visual Studio, C#, .NET and other languages, tools, and technologies in carrying out duties. Requirements include Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Applications, or Computer Engineering; and Working knowledge (1 post-secondary course using or 6 months’ work experience using) of Angular JS, LAMP Environment, Webservices, PathFinding Algorithms, and Version Control Tools.  Must pass technology skills test given to all programming applicants.
