Gender, Women’s and Sexuality Studies -Associate Professor

Gender, Women’s and Sexuality Studies – Associate Professor sought by Metropolitan State University of Denver in Denver, CO to teach undergraduate courses such as Introduction to Women’s Studies, Feminist Research and Methodology courses, and upper division cross-listed courses in Transnational Gender and Sexualities, Women of Color, Women in the Developing World, Multicultural Study of Sexualities and Gender.  Teach day, evening and weekend classes as required.  Engage in scholarly activities related to Women’s Studies and produce peer-reviewed scholarship.  Advise students in the department’s major and minors. Perform departmental, university, and professional services.  Participate in course and program development. 

Requirements include Ph.D. in the field of Women’s Studies, Feminist Studies, or Gender Studies; +2 years’ experience teaching women’s studies courses at the university/college level; and must have demonstrated experience (2 years) teaching undergraduate or graduate courses in women’s studies, feminist studies, transnational gender & sexualities studies.
