Job Description:  Full-time, tenure-track teaching position in the Department of Industrial Design.  Minimum teaching load is 12 credit hours each semester in the Fall and Spring semesters. Advise students and mentor them on design projects. Other duties include curricular development and program review, engaging in relevant scholarship, and providing service to the university and the community. Courses to be taught include: Materials and Fabrication, Concept & Portfolio Development, Design Aesthetics, Design Drawing Techniques, Future Transportation Design 1, and Intermediate ID Studio.

Requirements:  Requires Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, Product Design, Experience Design, or closely related design field. Requires 2 years’ professional experience in industrial design and Functional Expertise (2 years’ work experience) in Adobe Creative Suite, Autodesk Alias 3D modeling, and Autodesk Sketchbook Pro.
