Job Description: Tenure-track Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate and graduate level organic chemistry courses and conduct research. Teaching load is minimum of 24 credit hours per academic year. Maintain 5 office hours per week for advising and consulting with students. Provide service to the university and community, and engage in scholarly activity. Conduct research that leads to publishable works in the field of their specialty. Courses taught include: Survey of Organic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry I, and Organic Chemistry II.

Requirements: Requires Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Chemistry or Chemical Education; one academic year (2 semesters) of experience as an Assistant Professor, Organic Chemistry or teaching post-secondary introductory and upper-level courses in organic chemistry, chemistry or biochemistry; working knowledge of working with undergraduate students on research projects; and at least 1 peer-reviewed journal publication.
