Job Title:  Assistant Professor, Business Analytics

Work Location:  Denver, Colorado

Job Duties:  Tenure-track faculty position in the College of Business to teach courses in the Department of Computer Information Systems and Business Analytics. Courses taught will include one or more of the following areas: business analytics, business intelligence, big data analytics, knowledge discovery, managerial statistics, data mining/warehousing, or management science. Other duties include student advising activities, professional development/scholarship consistent with AACSB and ABET accreditations, and service to the department, college, university, and community.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Primary Education and Experience Requirements: Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Business Administration, Business Management, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a closely related field (employer will accept ABD with terminal degree to be conferred prior to start date); and 1 academic year (9 months) of experience teaching college or university business analytics courses.

Other Special Skills or Requirements: Position also requires demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching, conducting research, and scholarly publication in the business analytics field.
