Job Title: Computer Information Systems Tenure Track Professor

Job Duties: Teach 9-12 credit hours each semester in one or more of the following areas: business analytics, business intelligence, big data analytics, knowledge discovery, managerial statistics, data mining/warehousing and management science and serve as Coordinator of new business intelligence program. Commit to excellence in teaching, student advising activities, professional development/scholarship consistent with AACSB and ABET accreditations and service to the department, college, university and community. Teaching Duties Include: Preparing for courses, assessing student progress, conducting curricular review, curricular development, and program review, including the use of technology; Advising and assisting students in choosing career options, choosing a degree program, and successfully completing his or her degree; Engaging in scholarly activity that enriches the profession and results in new material which benefits the University community and is related to the faculty member’s assigned responsibilities. Meet intellectual contribution requirements as outlined by the College within required period and meet college of Business Faculty Qualification Policy criteria to be classified as a Scholarly Academic of Practicing Academic. Education Requirements:  PhD in Business Administration, Business Analytics or closely related field.      

Experience Requirement: 2 years’ experience teaching Business Analytics courses at the university/college level.

Special Skills or Other Requirements: Demonstrated experience (2 years) teaching undergraduate or graduate courses in at least 3 of the following subjects: Business Analytics I and II, Data science, Big Data, Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining, Operations Research/Management Science, Quantitative Methods, Business Statistics or Probability Theory.

Work from home (part-time) may be allowed but must live within commuting distance of campus.
