Job duties: Prepare bids, conceptual cost models, and budgets for construction projects. Perform quantitative analysis of construction documents and project program requirements; monitor field production to ensure accurate cost estimates; develop and manage bid spreadsheets; review plans, drawings and specifications; create and organize scope comparisons of subcontractor and vendor bids. Provide technical guidance on constructability, schedule, phasing, and staff levels, including identification of potential obstacles, errors, and cost overruns; identify and recommend functional procedures and policy changes. Make recommendations regarding subcontractors and oversee subcontractor and supplier relationships. Coordinate with architects and engineers during the bid process. Utilize Construction Safety – IIF, Estimating Tools (Destini Estimator, SAGE), Power BI Dashboard, On Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam Studio, Navis Works/BIM, Conceptual Estimating and Assemble 3D Takeoff, Primavera P6, and other tools and technologies in performing duties.

Requirements include: bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management; and 3 years’ experience in estimating or project management, or as estimator; and functional expertise (2 years’ work experience using) of Construction Safety- IIF, Navisworks, Power BI Dashboard, On Screen Takeoff, and Bluebeam Studio. Drug screen and background check are required.

Employee will be offered an annual salary between $69,000 and $120,000.
