Senior Data Engineer sought by Everside Health, LLC, to work in Denver, CO.
Job Duties: Employ advanced analytics, data engineering and data visualization to create a data platform to validate health care data and provide analytical metrics and reports. Gather requirements and convert them into technical specifications; design, build and support data processing pipelines to transform data in Big Data platforms; build and maintain code for big data ingestion; create and update ETL/ELT specifications and documentation; develop ETL/ELT logic utilizing Informatica workflows, scripting and load utilities; develop Python and other scripts; implement dataflow scripts; develop and execute quality assurance and test scripts; create and publish reports including dashboards and scorecards; create data models for future. Configure database storage; install applications; implement automation; create and update database procedures, functions, view and file formats; manage GitLab repositories; monitor database performance and integrity; create maintenance plan; and problem solve and troubleshoot technical issues. Utilize Snowflake, SQL, AWS, Unix/Linux, Tableau, Python, Snow-SQL, Matillion, S3, MS SQL Server, and other tools and technologies in performing duties.
Requirements: MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering; and working knowledge (1 year experience or 1-year post-secondary course using) Snowflake, SQL, Unix/Linux, Tableau, and Python. Employer will accept BS + 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience in lieu of MS. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
Drug screen and background check required. On-call for emergencies is required. Work from home within commuting distance of office is allowed due to pandemic.
Salary range $131,685-$140,000 per year. Employer offers benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401k savings plan. Company paid holidays. Company provided PTO. Company provided laptop and work equipment.
