Manager, Data Engineering sought by Everside Health, LLC, to work in Denver, CO and various unanticipated locations nationwide (may work remotely from anywhere in U.S.).

Job Duties:  Lead the development and support of the enterprise data management platform to continuously improve the data engineering and data warehouse technology strategy. Provide platform support and system recommendation for the data platform and provide technical guidance and recommendations for the enterprise data needs. Set best practices for data modeling, data integration, database development and testing. Lead code reviews and technical design sessions, write and review technical design specifications. Responsible for the data integration processes built within Matillion to load and normalize data for downstream consumption. Develop and support the code and configuration repository. Collaborate with infrastructure team to manage AWS technologies and processes used for data integration and data extracts.  Manage a development team comprised of mid to senior level resources. Recruit, motivate, retain, and enhance top-tier Engineering and DevOps teams. Provide expert-level assistance and mentoring to developers, as well as mentorship and guidance to data engineering team. Utilize AWS Web Services, Automate, Shell Scripting, Jira, Tableau dashboards, Snowflake, Matillion, SQL, GIT, Salesforce.com, and other tools and technologies in performing duties.

Requirements: MS in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, IT or closely related field; and 3 years’ experience in software development or IT consulting. *In lieu of Master’s + 3 years of experience, employer will accept Bachelor’s + 5 years of progressive experience in software development or IT consulting.

Position also requires Functional Expertise (2 years’ experience) in AWS Web Services, Matillion, Snowflake, Python, Data warehousing. 

On-call for emergencies is required. Drug screen and background check required.

May work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Salary range $201,500 to $210,000 per year. Employer offers benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401k savings plan. Company paid holidays. Company provided PTO.
