Job Title: US Production Manager

Work Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado. Work from home may be allowed (part-time), must be within commuting distance of office.
Job Duties: Provide quantitative and qualitative research, create reports, stay current on major events taking place in the energy market industry and respond to client questions and queries. Understand both macro and micro trends in energy markets and the relevant impacts those trends have on the financial markets. Produce commodity and financial models, insights, and research reports for clients on a monthly, quarterly and ad hoc basis. Identify new and existing publicly available data sets, working with the Data Engineering Team to make consumable reports and ensure quality assurance of raw data and models. Understand both supply and demand aspects of multiple energy-producing basins in the US and how they interconnect with each other- Macro Supply and Demand trends. Manage and understand the data behind the monthly Production Scenario product. Ensure the company is benchmarking to the U.S. Energy Information Administration reports (Natural Gas Gross Withdrawals and Production, Crude Oil Production, Drilling Productivity Report). Evaluate, model, and analyze energy (e.g. natural gas, crude oil) market fundamentals including analysis of supply, demand, prices, and various other factors.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Primary Education and Experience Requirements: Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
Other Special Skills or Requirements: Position also requires proficiency in GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS), Tableau, PowerBI, and Bloomberg Terminal. Working knowledge of 1) Crude Basin and Gas Basins Production forecast at a basin and system level 2) forecasting, energy demand, asset valuation and local commodity and energy market dynamics. (Academic course work/research acceptable).
Offered salary range: $80,974 to $105,000 per year.
