Job Title: Assistant Professor of Marketing (Tenure Track)

Job Duties: Teach marketing courses at the undergraduate level with a standard teaching load of 24 credits per academic year (3 credits of time may be authorized for research release),
supporting majors, minors, concentrations, and certificate programs across the Katz School of
Business. Conduct research sufficient to maintain AACSB Scholarly Academic status.
Demonstrate a commitment to student success in the classroom, during office hours, through
mentorship of students within the Marketing program (and the Katz School of Business), and
by supervising undergraduate projects. Maintain an active program of scholarship and
disciplinary engagement. Participate in departmental and College governance and
professional service. Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student
success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities; maintain knowledge and
awareness of digital accessibility, including the American with Disabilities Act and Section
508; and produce and remediate digitally accessible materials in accordance with FLC
standards. Courses taught may include: Principles of Marketing, Consumer Behavior, and Global Marketing.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience Requirements: Ph.D. or D.B.A in Marketing, Management, or a closely related field. Employer will accept ABD with the promise of a degree completion within one academic year. Experience: 9 months (one academic year) teaching marketing courses at the college/university level (experience may be gained while completing degree).
Other Special Skills or Requirements: Must have demonstrated potential for excellence in developing and teaching a range of marketing courses at the undergraduate level. Demonstrated potential for excellence in scholarship and publication.
